Visco Supreme is designed and formulated for more efficient cataract surgery. It contains sodium hyaluronate derived from bacteria fermentation and has one of the highest elasticities among viscoelastics produced with this source of material.

65,000 cps viscosity
Visco Supreme has been formulated to produce the highest possible viscosity in a low or zero shear environment. This high viscosity (65,000+ or - 10,000 cps) maintains space well in the anterior chamber and keeps material from escaping through the incision during manipulation.

This cannula is specific for the Visco Supreme's high elastic properties.

Extended testing shows Visco Supreme will remain shelf-stable for 3 years at or below 25°C.

The resident protein contents of Visco Supreme are so low, (in contrast to products made with rooster comb) that refrigeration is not necessary to keep it safe for surgery. However, since exposure to heat can break the long chains of sodium hyaluronate and lead to a loss of viscosity, CLR recommends that Visco Supreme be stored at or below 25 degrees Centigrade.
